Gerry Edwards was born in San Francisco and after growing up in San Luis Obispo, California, he moved to Ore for about 11 years working on the railroad. He moved back to San Luis Obispo and began a career as a glass artist. After a successful career in glass, which he still pursues, he started wring for Treasure Magazines about his outings with one of his hobbies. This opened the door for writing a Scifi book called Rex, which he has not yet published.

He now resides just out of Mariposa in the Sierras of California. Gerry Is very diversified with his hobbies. He scuba dives for treasure, he metal detects and prospects for gold. He is an avid long range shooter and loves to compete. His outdoor experiences influence his writing to a large degree.
