Ann Ewan has written fantasy books and stories as long as she can remember. For the first 10 years after leavinghigh school, she lived various places in Canada and Britain and tried a wide variety of jobs, from security guard to secretary to Animal Health Technician.

Then she returned to school and had a wonderful time earning a degree in Linguistics from the University of Toronto, specializing in Latin, Old English, and Irish Gaelic. Since graduating, she's worked as a technical writer, and currently works full-time for IBM.
