Rosemary Ferraro was born on the 13th April 1959, in Cape Town, South Africa. Her father was a doctor and fighter pilot in the last WW and her mother a journalist for a well known newspaper in SA.

She lived in cities and rural places as a child and then studied a BA degree in English and Psychology. She worked for an airline as a Ground Stewardess and then later did secretarial work before becoming a teacher and working in New Zealand, South Korea and then England.

Her hobbies are writing, reading, travelling,swimming.

She lives in Bedford in Bedfordshire with a cat named Sikhi who is like a dog, she has a mistaken identity and follows her into town like a watchdog.

She also has a gold fish.
