Dean J. Forchette has rigorously pursued a self-competitive lifestyle: he served as an enlisted soldier during the Vietnam era in South Korea as a member of a security police team and in Germany as a SO prep; for fifteen years he was employed as a graphic designer for Ameritech before opening his own design business. He is a former member of the League of Milwaukee Artists and the West Allis Art Alliance and has displayed his paintings in galleries in Milwaukee and vicinity and has won local and national recognition. His hobbies have included bodybuilding for which he was recognized as runner up in the Mr. Midwest Classic Titan Naturals Competition in the Masters Division and trophied in both the Vic Tanny and the Wisconsin State Championship. He enjoys fishing and riding Harleys.
