Miriam Gallagher's work has been published, staged and screened in Ireland, UK, Europe, USA & Canada, and translated into Irish, Russian, Dutch and Finnish.

Her film Gypsies was screened in New York & San Francisco. Short stories are published in anthologies of Irish writing and essays in art, film and educational journals. She has received Arts Council Theatre and Film Awards and has been a guest lecturer at universities in Ireland, Europe, USA & South Africa.
