Roderick is a professional aerospace engineer who really does design spacecraft and bits of spacecraft. In his spare time he has written one novel, To Stop a War, and may do it again. His short stories have appeared in all manner of webzines including Aphelion, Scribal Tales and Quantummuse. In November 2008 he won the British Science Fiction Association's Fiftieth Anniversary Short Story Competition. He also produces SF illustrations for all sorts of SF Magazines and novels, particularly for William Alan Rieser. In fact, most of the book covers listed in Mr Rieser's section of www.scifan.com are by Roderick, including the one for Panacea.
