Brett Hall started writing fantasy fiction in 2001. After the birth of his twins, he discovered reading and after reading over one hundred fantasy novels (he tends to obsess) the engineer in him thought 'I wonder if I could do make one of those?'

He decided to start big and write a semi-serious trilogy (the Daarm series) then tried some much less serious (or much more humorous, depending on how you look at it) series books (Giddley Jenkins and Hieronymos Flynn).

Brett lives in Indiana with his lovely wife Susan and his kids Donovan and Holly.
