   Writers: Jim C. Hines (1974 - , United States)

  About the author

Jim C. Hines began writing during college, when he
began jotting down a few ideas in his free time. When he
realized he had completed an entire novel (while somehow
forgetting such minor things as term papers), he decided it
was time to take this writing stuff more seriously. He
writes mostly fantasy, alternating between short stories and novels. He currently lives in mid-Michigan, where he also writes the occasional newspaper column and fixes computers for the State of Michigan.

Biography provided by the author, October 2004.
