Savannah Kaye enjoyed a rewarding career in the electronics industry for fifteen years, however, in June of 2000, everything came to an abrupt halt when she contracted Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS), a debilitating neurological disease that attacked her entire body, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. It was also impossible to hold anything in her hands, much less a pen. However, after six months of physical therapy, along with the love and support of her family and friends, she began to recover.
In January of 2001 she was finally able to sit down at her computer. That's when she began writing Knight of Honor which was completed in August of that year.
Ms. Kaye resides in McLean, Virginia.
