By turns Gordon Kennedy has been a musician, sculptor and writer, along the way he has also been an employee in an electronics plant, a short order cook, parking attendant, actor, print model, book reviewer, journalist, aikidoist, waiter, bartender and sandwich-guy at a small college in the Boston area.

Asked if he taught at the college, Gordon answered, "No, I only annoy the students in the lunch line."
