Amy Lane has been born, raised, and educated all within a 100 mile radius of the setting of her first book, *Vulnerable*. She has been married for nearly twenty years, has exactly four children, one dog, and an unspecified number of cats. Her last sixteen years have been spent teaching high school, where she has learned the heart, soul, and bones of literature, teenagers and the meaning of life, but has not yet learned to lock up her
dvds or her iPod. (Donations welcome!) She also obsesses about knitting, which makes her, she wagers, about the most boring human in history in person, but she swears she saves all of her ultimate cool for her novels, where her alter-egos kick serious hinie.
