Greg Park was born in Provo, Utah, in 1967. He spent most of his youth fishing the Provo River, and hiking and camping in the Wasatch and Uinta Mountains. After serving a proselyting mission in Japan, he attended Brigham Young University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in English. During this time, he met the love of his life, Chantilly. They have two children who are spending much of their youth fishing and hiking in the Uinta Mountains with their parents.
A teacher at Timpanogos High School in Orem, Utah, Greg teaches English 10, Creative Writing, Science Fiction, and Japanese. He also acts as an advisor for student council. This fall he will be returning to BYU to start a Master's in Theatre and Media Arts. He is both excited and nervous to be moving back into the role of student.
