C.J. Parker is an evolving writer and began seriously writing short stories and poems in her early teens. Wanting something more challenging she broke out into creating novel length works and continues to plan out future projects.
Ms. Parker's writing credits (published under her true name Janis I. Monroe) include her poems "Rain," which has been published twice, "Christmas Joy," and "Ocean Prayer" have been featured in the chapbooks Seasons of Change Vol. XXIII (2000), Poets of the Year (2001), Fireside Christmas (2001), and a second edition of the Poets of the Year (2002), were all published by the JMW Publishing Co. in Blue Springs, Missouri. Lastly, her poem "Heat of the Night" was published in a British magazine, Poetic Hours, in the fall of 2001.
She received her Freelance Writing degree from a distance learning school, Education Direct in Scranton, PA. Ms. Parker lives in Watertown, NY.
