Richard Phelan was born and raised in Canton, Massachusetts. He spent most of his youth trying to figure out what he wanted to do when he grew up. He's still searching to this day. He entered the University of Lowell in the field of Physics and graduated with a B.S. in Plastics Engineering. Despite his background in the sciences, his real interest is fiction writing.
