H. J. Ralles was born in England. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, she enjoyed teaching creative writing to her pupils. With the arrival of her own children Ms. Ralles became a stay-at-home Mom but continued to write in her spare time.
In 1997, struggling to find books that appealed to her computer literate children, she rose to the challenge of producing a novel that would captivate them as much as their computer games. Keeper of the Kingdom was so successful that it is now on a third printing and has become the first in a series. It has been put on the curriculum of many schools throughout the USA and has attracted the attention of a movie studio in Los Angeles.
H. J. Ralles aims to keep her novels fast-paced action adventures that will captivate all ages. She lives in Plano with her husband, two teenage sons and a devoted black Labrador. She is the regional representative for the National Association of Women Writers, and a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
