After four decades of writing non-fiction, Thomas Riley decided it was time to foray into the world of fiction. Over the decades he wrote extensively on information issues and the impact information technologies are having on society.

Thomas has also written poetry over the years but always with the twist of "what it is out there" and the nature of the universe. But he is a born romantic so he's not been able to resist writing many love poems in the course of his career.

Originally born in London, England, he came to Canada as a child and now resides in Ottawa where he continues to write and run my small, successful consulting business. But he has lived and worked all over the world and travels a good third part of the year in pursuit of his work. He specializes in e-government and e-democracy topics and has written two books on the subject to date.
