RG Roane was born in Philadelphia, PA, in 1956. After receiving his degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University, he began a career as a classified encryption system designer, security analyst for the National Security Agency, and secure communication consultant to the U.S. Navy.

Twenty years later, Mr. Roane has emerged from the world of top secret government communications with a rare perspective from behind the black curtain of official confidentiality. He brings us the remarkable story of The Delphinus Chronicles from his current home of Ramona, California, a rural suburb of San Diego.
