Writing was one of those dreams Lissa Michaels thought was meant for 'other' people, one she never expected to come true for herself. The birth of her second child and her husband's odd schedule necessitated she become a stay-at-home mom, giving her the opportunity live her dream

Lissa has many likes and hobbies, but her passion is romance with a liberal dose of 'something different'. That passion lead to avid reading of futuristic and fantasy romance, and writing them. She lives in the suburbs of Chicago wiith her police officer husband and two beautiful daughters who keep her so busy that sometimes she forgets that writers actually have to write.
