Ms. Smith lives in Virginia with her husband and four sons. She was raised in the desert of Tucson, Arizona. In 2001, Ms. Smith opened a small publishing company and invited a few authors along that she had met through self-publishing channels.

Ms. Smith enjoys finding new and different items having to do with clipper ships and is interested in the study of dreams and psychic phenomena. Her first book, Dream Catcher, is a short novel introducing the character of Adam Wittner and she is currently working on the fourth installment to that series of books.
