Kelly Steed was born in Detroit, MI, USA. Kelly is clairvoyant and factors a great deal of her paranormal experiences into her work. Her ghost story "Pining" was published in Haunted Encounters Real-Life Stories of Supernatural Experiences (Atriad Press, 2003). She was brought up involved in Am. Civil War and Revolutionary War re-enacting igniting her imagination for role-playing and passion for research. She enjoys attending science fiction conventions and constructing costumes.

She is the author/publisher of the Kelly Steed, Sci-Fi Author Newsletter.
