Kip Sulham was born the eldest of three children in a military family, and has traveled extensively. He was educated at Louisiana State University, University of Guam, Troy State University, and the University of Kentucky. (Obviously, a slow learner). He is now a retired officer, United States Air Force, and teaches history and anthropology at Lexington Community College, part of the University of Kentucky system.
Kip raises and races homing pigeons, and builds telescopes when he isn't busy writing or spending time with his three grandchildren.
Biography provided by the author, February 2003.
