Terri was born in Mobile, Alabama, the heart of the deep South, Dixie and hospitality. At age two, she moved to Colorado with her mother and stepfather. She grew up loving horses, mountains and the fresh mountain air. Terri wrote and became the feature editor for her high-school paper, The Medallion. After high school, Terri spent some months in Germany and Luxembourg. While in Europe she discovered her own love for other people, cultures and languages. In college she studied Cross Cultural Communications and met her husband, Daniel Thompson. They started a church in Dan’s hometown in Kansas and spent a few years in Colorado. They have three active and talented boys and currently live in Minnesota where Dan is a pastor.
