William Woolfolk's writing career spans 50+ years, and his talents are reflected in dozens of works. An American writer, novelist, essayist, newspaper columnist and magazine publisher, he has written 18 novels and two works of nonfiction.

His publishers include Doubleday, Dial Press, Prentice Hall, Bantam Books, New American Library, and Stein & Day. Some of his books were chosen as major book club choices through Literary Guild, Doubleday Book Club, Cosmopolitan Book Club and Playboy Press.
