Grant Workman's interest in writing developed after high school and continued while serving as an aircraft mechanic in the Air Force. Working for one of the leading aircraft manufactures is where Grant and Mary, met and began to work together on the varies stories they write.

Mary, who also was in the aircraft, has not only been the consulting writer, but also acts as at-home first-proof editor on their projects. She has a sharp focus for detail, and keeping Grant's plot twists not too confusing, while helping guide the directions the characters develop.

Together, they have written about swords and magic, adventures in space faring worlds, as well as travelers on worlds less advanced--seven books at present, one of which is presently published. They battle the regular problems any book goes through to come into existence, while maintaining their home with a dog and two cats and the working life. Like all writers, there's always at least one story in the works.
