An award-winning, best-selling novelist, Ruth Glick is
the author of over 90 books. Writing as Rebecca York,
she has authored or co-authored 35 romantic suspense
novels, many with paranormal elements. Her popular
43 Light Street romantic suspense series for Harlequin
Intrigue includes several novels with paranormal
elements. Her three single-title paranormal romantic
suspense novels, starting with KILLING MOON, will be
out from Berkley in summer, 2003.

Ruth's many awards include two Romance Writers of
America Rita nominations and three Lifetime Achievement
and Career Achievement awards from Romantic Times.
Romantic Times selected NOWHERE MAN, a romantic suspense
with a paranormal plot, as one of their reviewers'
"all-time favorite 200 romances." In addition, she
received the 1998 Affaire de Coeur's Critics Choice
Award for Best Contemporary Novel, also for NOWHERE MAN.
Michael Dirda, of Washington Post Book World, calls her
"a real luminary of contemporary series romance."

Ruth and her husband travel frequently to research
settings for novels and taste new dishes for her
cookbooks (of which she has written fourteen). Her many
unique experiences often end up in her books--like the
time she encountered a coral snake in the Guatemalan
jungle or waded across the Rio Grande River into Mexico.
